AA Oil & Gas is an upstream oil and gas development company.

In September 2011, the company acquired Gini Energy Ltd, a Papua New Guinea (PNG) registered company with several oil and gas concessions in PNG.

In March 2012, the Company entered into a joint venture agreement with CNOOC (Australia) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of China National Overseas Oil Company. The agreement with CNOOC (AU) was that in exchange for a 70% interest in Gini Energy, they provide technical expertise and funding through to development.

In March 2019, company change the name from UMC Corporation to AA Oil & Gas Limited.
